Develop project ideas and commission history books aimed at high school and college undergraduate students for Bloomsbury Academic. Provide developmental editing and author support and oversee projects from idea conception to publication.

Met with authors, reviewed proposals, sent email inquiries, and attended conferences to acquire books for the imprint’s sociology and criminology lists, as well as managed all titles on the lists and guided them through the publishing process.

Helped publish over 75 titles across the sociology, music, and environmental studies disciplines by completing tasks such as logging proposals, drafting contracts, securing peer reviews and endorsements, vetting final manuscripts, editing cover copy, and creating marketing materials.

Edited articles and books written by Brigham Young University faculty. Performed various editorial services, including substantive editing, copyediting, proofreading, indexing, and typesetting.

BYU MAGAZINE

Wrote and edited articles for Brigham Young University's alumni magazine. Also wrote biweekly alumni newsletters, wrote and analyzed surveys, and helped manage the magazine's social media (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram).

BYU COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES

Wrote and edited content for BYU Humanities Magazine as well as the BYU Humanities website. Also helped plan and manage events put on by the College of Humanities.
